For transport, partner and emergency enquiries, we process the contact, pickup, destination, cargo and timing details you provide. Job applications additionally include your driver profile, contact details and any PDF, JPG or PNG files you choose to attach.

Purpose and delivery

We use the data to process your enquiry or application and contact you about it. The form sends the details through the website to BG Transport. Resend is used for email delivery. Attachments are sent to BG Transport as email attachments and are not stored in a public upload directory.

Legal basis, retention and rights

We process pre-contractual enquiries and applications under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For business contacts and general enquiries, the basis is our legitimate interest in processing and communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Required information is needed to handle your request; without it, we may be unable to respond.

Retention depends on the purpose: until the enquiry or recruitment process is completed, and beyond that only where statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require it. If a contract follows, the applicable contractual retention requirements apply.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, objection or data portability. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: www.dsb.gv.at.

Hosting and recipients

WebArs e.U. manages technical operation on infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Visits involve processing the IP address, time, requested URL and browser and connection information to provide and secure the website. The basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and reliable website operation).

Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) processes message content and delivery information, including in the United States. Resend provides a data processing agreement with EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Processing and safeguards: Resend DPA.

Technical note

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Form drafts are held in your browser's session storage so that input survives page or language changes. Fonts and website images are loaded from this website's server.
